We’re excited to share with you the next release in our limited edition, to celebrate our famous Distillery's 135th Birthday. The fourth expression in this series is Bundaberg Rum Small Batch Distillery Edition: 135th Anniversary Blend.

This year’s Distillery Edition is expertly crafted by blending some of the distilleries’ richest 19-year-old reserves with rums rested in ex-port, ex-sherry and ex-bourbon barrels. It’s an extra-old-aged, limited-edition rum for the ages.

If you are interested in purchasing the newly released Bundaberg Rum Small Batch Distillery Edition: 135th Anniversary Rum bottle numbered from 4 – 1000, there is a process you will need to follow which is outlined below.

Please read the below instructions and terms carefully.

We will be using an electronic randomised draw system to allocate low numbers between 4 – 1000 to Small Batch Distillery Edition low numbered bottles, which will be available for you to purchase in 3 easy steps. Purchase of the Small Batch Distillery Edition low numbered bottle is deemed acceptance of the terms contained in this document (being the Steps, FAQ and Additional Terms sections).

From 11:59am QLD/AEST Thursday 16^th November 2023 to 11:59am QLD/AEST Monday 20^th November 2023 (or until all bottles are sold out) pre-purchase your Small Batch Distillery Edition low numbered bottle online.
A random draw will take place to allocate a bottle number to all orders placed during the Purchasing Period.
From Wednesday 22^nd November 2023 orders will be dispatched from the Bundaberg Rum Distillery and shipped to you using the delivery details provided at the time of checkout.

Step 1 – Purchase your Small Batch Distillery Edition Bottle

Purchasing the Small Batch Distillery Edition low numbered bottle must occur via our official online webstore.

From 11:59am QLD/AEST Thursday 16^th November 2023 purchasers who are 18+ years old can purchase the bottle online via our webstore.
Purchase the Small Batch Distillery Edition low numbered bottle for $84.95 (incl.GST). Strictly one bottle per person (multiple orders placed by one person will be cancelled and refunded, and it will not be considered as an eligible order).
Follow the checkout process, pay for your Small Batch Distillery Edition low numbered bottle and you will receive an order confirmation email.
Please note, low numbered bottles are limited and if all low numbered bottles sell out prior to the planned end of the Purchasing Period, then the Purchase Period will close immediately. If bottles do not sell out, then at 11:59am QLD/AEST on Monday 20^th November 2023 purchases will close for the Small Batch Distillery Edition low numbered bottles.

Step 2 – Random draw for bottle numbers

Once the purchasing period has closed online we will hold a draw to randomly allocate bottle numbers to the Small Batch Distillery Edition low numbered bottle orders that we have received during the purchasing period.

All eligible orders (placed in accordance with Step 1) of the Small Batch Distillery Edition low numbered bottles will be placed into a random number generating system and allocated a number from 4 - 1000 (both inclusive).
This random number allocated by the draw to your order will be the bottle number of your Small Batch Distillery Edition low numbered bottle.
By 5pm QLD/AEST on 22^nd November 2023 you should have received the exciting confirmation email announcing your bottle number.

Step 3 – Delivery of your Small Batch Distillery Edition bottle

From Wednesday 22^nd November 2023 orders made during the purchasing period will be dispatched from the Bundaberg Rum Distillery and shipped to you using the delivery details provided at the time of checkout.

Please note, there will be no option for you to collect your order in-person at the Bundaberg Rum Distillery. All orders for the Small Batch Distillery Edition low numbered bottles placed during the purchase period from 11:59am QLD/AEST 16^th November 2023 to 11:59am QLD/AEST 20^th November 2023 (or until sold out) will be shipped to you using the delivery details collected during the checkout process. Please make sure your shipping details are correct when placing your order.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Can I purchase more than 1 low numbered bottle?

To give everyone a fair go at getting their hands on a Small Batch Distillery Edition low numbered bottle, we have limited orders to 1 bottle per person. Multiple orders found to be placed by one person will be cancelled and refunded, and wont be considered as eligible orders.

Q: What will happen to any low numbered bottles that are unsold as at 11:59am QLD/AEST 20^th November 2023 when the purchase period closes?

Any unsold Small Batch Distillery Edition bottles with bottle numbers under 1000 will be available for sale at the Bundaberg Rum Distillery Store from Wednesday 22^nd November 2023. Purchasing limits will apply. Purchases will be limited to 1 bottle per adult per day whilst stocks last.

Bottles numbered greater than 1000 will also be available for sale at the Bundaberg Rum Distillery Store and online at www.bundabergrum.com.au from Wednesday 22^nd November 2023.

Q: What happens if all low numbered bottles sell out before the end of the purchasing period?

Low numbered bottles of Small Batch Distillery Edition are limited, and the purchasing period will close prior to Monday 20^th November 2023 if all of the low numbered bottles sell out. Once all low numbered bottles have sold out, the purchase period will close immediately.

If you miss out, bottles numbered greater than 1000 will also be available for sale at the Bundaberg Rum Distillery Store and online at www.bundabergrum.com.au from Wednesday 22^nd November 2023.

Q: Can I purchase other products online in the same transaction as my low numbered Small Batch Distillery Edition bottle?

Yes. When purchasing your low numbered Small Batch Distillery Edition low numbered bottle you will also be able to add other products to your cart which can be purchased in the same transaction.

Please note, any additional products that you purchase will be dispatched together with your Small Batch Distillery Edition bottle. Additional products will not be shipped prior to Wednesday 22^rd November 2023.

Q: Do I have to pay for shipping?

The Bundaberg Rum website offers free shipping on orders over $250. If you chose to purchase additional products as well as your low numbered Small Batch Distillery Edition bottle and your order total is over $250, then shipping will be free.

If your order total is less than $250 than you will be charged a flat rate shipping fee of $15.

Q: Can I collect my order from the Distillery?

No. There will be no option for you to collect your order in-person at the Bundaberg Rum Distillery. All orders for the Small Batch Distillery Edition low numbered bottles will be shipped to you using the delivery details collected during the checkout process. Please make sure your shipping details are correct when placing your order.

Q: What if I would like to purchase a bottle of Small Batch Distillery Edition but don’t want a low numbered bottle or to go into the lottery?

If you are not interested in purchasing a low numbered bottle, bottles numbered over 1000 of the Small Batch Distillery Edition will be available via the Distillery Store and www.bundabergrum.com.au from Wednesday 22^nd November 2023. Bottles will continue to be sold exclusively via the Distillery Store and our website while stocks last.

Q: How is this different to the Distillery Edition released in 2022?

In 2022 we launched Distillery Edition Extra Old Aged Spiced Rum that was crafted by infusing hand selected 16-year-old rum reserves with exotic spices to develop a rich, complex and balanced extra old aged spiced rum like no other. In 2023 we are launching Distillery Edition, The 135th Anniversary blend which has been expertly crafted by blending some of the distilleries’ richest 19-year-old reserves with rums rested in ex-port, ex-sherry and ex-bourbon barrels. These are very different rums, however both have been launched as Distillery Edition limited edition releases.
